From Ballet to Blotch
On a typical work day, a person wears the same pair of shoes from 9:00am to 5:00pm. Whether it's standing up, or feet firmly placed behind a desk, comfort is paramount with regards to footwear. Running around in sneakers is a no-no and there isn't na option to go bare in a professional environment; the dressier the shoe, the better. But, can the same pair of be stylish and soothing to the soles? Just ask Bloch.
Founded in Sydney in 1932 by Jacob Bloch, Bloch is a pioneer in the technical dance market. Renowned for hand-made ballet and pointe shoes, Bloch's long term success was achieved by listening to the needs of dancers. Are they comfortable? Yes. Can they withstand multiple performances? Most definately.
The same philosophy has transferred to their ready-to-wear line of shoes. Recognised for the ballet-style slip-ons, Bloch's hoes are in the closest of every fashionist. But, that doesn't mean they dhaven't forgetten their male clientele.
Bloch offers two styles for the dapper gent: the Cosmo and the Billy Flynn (with contrasting leather). Influenced by the 1940s with subtle, modern contours, the shoes are available in classic shades such as snow white, navy blue, sable, sepia, slate grey and the proverbial black. Super comfortable, the leather uppers and soles combine form and function. There's never a better time to dance the night away after spending a day in the office. Skip the ballet and go straight to Bloch.
